Supporting the GP's - In the smooth running of clinics by performing routine administrative and clinical tasks on behalf of the GP freeing up the GP time to focus on the patient.

Clinical skills - Blood Tests, Blood Pressure Measurements, ECG exam, Preparing patients before seeing GP with Full Set OF Observations, Adult Vaccinations (flu/ pneumococcal/Shingrix), urine dips, ear syringing, NHS Health Care checks, assisting with contraception clinics, assisting with minor op clinics, clinical tests carried out for the hypertension team, supporting the nursing team with healthcare assistant cover as required. 

Admin Support - Supporting the GP in liaising with outside agencies SPL hospital admissions, extracting information from clinical documents & hospital discharge notices coding, arranging appointments, referrals tests & follow ups, preparing referral forms for GP signature, signposting patients to appropriate service providers.
