COVID-19 Surgery Guidance Following Government Announcement on 19th July 2021

Please be advised that our surgeries are permitted by the Government to instigate our own policy following the Government announcement on 19th July 2021.

All patients attending our surgeries will still be required to wear surgical face masks and maintain social distancing. Our procedures for managing the pandemic will remain unchanged for the foreseeable future. This is to ensure both patients and staff members are protected and to ensure our service and level of care remains unaffected.

We do hope you understand the situation as our surgeries have the health and wellbeing of patients and staff in mind. Any inappropriate behaviour towards our staff will not be tolerated.

Immunosuppressed Patients Requiring Third COVID-19 Vaccine

If you are an immunosuppressed patient calling about your third COVID-19 vaccine you will be contacted directly by Somerset Foundation Trust, despite the statement in an NHS England letter we are unable to book that appointment for you. Please do not contact your surgery for this purpose. Thank you for understanding.
